100 years have gone by since the first climb, and yet Sass d’Ortiga, with its edges, continues to fascinate with that elegance we wished to imprint on this apartment.

Our father taught us the best stories begin around the table or around the fire, and this is how we decided to keep intact the “larin”, the beautiful hearth of the Ortiga apartment, the real beating heart of the house, where people gather to sip tea, read a book or share one of the many DOC and DOP products of the Agordine Dolomites.

Every piece of furniture is made by skilled local artisans, such as the straw chairs, a true symbol of Gosaldo’s “careghete” tradition, which are small masterpieces made by chair-makers through a craftsmanship that has come down to us from their grandparents.

A snuggly corner for those who wish to take a moment to get away from it all in an exclusive setting, enhanced by the warmth of antique wood and the many details that make this accommodation simply unique.
