Reclaimed wood, a warm welcome, the peacefulness of the mountains.

With Ester, we wished to make our mother’s dream come true: that of opening a B&B of her own, a place where hospitality is warm and genuine.

We named the bedroom La stua, a small tribute to one of the most important rooms in traditional Belluno homes. The “stua”, in fact, was the cosiest and warmest room in the house: this room received light from two windows, on the windowsills there were always vases of carnations, geraniums and yellow evergreens.

Lined with wood, with a ceiling carved with a beautiful wind rose – and with a floor made of larch planks; protected by Signor, the crucifix that can never be removed, and with the parents’ bed flanked by stoups and guarded by an antique grandfather clock: Ester’s stua is a true treasure chest of local history.
